.220 Swift Ackley Improved (40 degree):

MDT Tactical - TIMBR Core Stock & AICS Bottom Metal
Elftmann Tactical - 700 SE Trigger (discontinued)
Proof Research - 23" Barrel - 1:8" Twist - Approximately 7-8 years old.

Built as a lightweight, longer range, coyote/badger/rockchuck rifle. I will be shooting the Sierra Bullets 69 grain Tipped Game King and 69 grain Blitzking bullets.

According to MDT, it is made from one piece of walnut. I really like that it's not glossy, but more satin. It is not very heavy, either.

That's what I really like is the satin finish.
Majority of the time if I redo a wood stock I just use Watco Danish oil finish on it. It adds color and seals but no shine.

It will be a Nightforce NX8 2.5-20X.
