PTG 700 RH SA Blueprinted Action

I have a VLS takeoff stock and bottom metal that I would like to use for a 222 varmint build.
I know there are probably better options out there but, would these make a good build?

After years of experience with PT&G, I would not hesitate to do a build on one of their blueprinted actions. Their chambering reamers are also superlative. They work closely with Pac-Nor Barrels also.

No personal experience with their actions, but I've not heard any negative feedback on them. If in doubt, go over and ask on the
Accurate Shooter/6mmbr site. I'm sure you'll get positive feedback.

I cant comment on there PTG actions but I can on there reamers, after 2 reamers that were. 002 to small at the .200 line from what was speced i am done with there reamers. I recently bought a tool to thread into a 700 or clone to line up recoil lugs to drill for pins that wouldn't thread into any 700 or Defiance I had. After 2 attempts to call about it with 1 attempt I missed the call and 2nd no response I bought a Die to chase the threads now it threads into my actions.
Do your research theres plenty of complaints about PTG seems if you have a problem customer service sucks which has been my experience.

Yes it's kinda hit or miss with PTG.
I got a choke tube reamer for 410 and it wasn't right. Bought thru ebay.
I sent it to them for correction and they fixed it and sent it back free of charge. I haven't had any issues with thier tooling but I'll buy from Dave Manson first if he has it or I want it made. Manson reamers are A1 in my opinion.
PTG actions I haven't heard anything aboot.
