BIG Trouble on the Horizon

Here in Oregon we've got big trouble in the form of the libtards in Portland trying to actually outlaw all hunting, fishing, and all forms of ranching, cattle production and more in the state. It is headed to the November ballot as IP 28 (Initiative Petition 28).

This is the sort of crap that if enacted, spreads to other states. We've seen the "Californicaton" of Oregon now for years, but this one is over the top. Read the link, you'll be glad you did. If this gets passed, it's sure to spread to other states. Got varmint rifles? They'll be just target rifles if this passes, as even shooting a gopher would be a crime.

If you're in Oregon, only one word suffices here....... VOTE!

I'll pass the word around. I haven't bought my Oregon license yet, because they raised the non-resident fees up to $193.00 a year! This would damage a lot of communities that depend on hunter income. Not to mention the fact that farmers will just use poison to kill varmints. That is a much more horrific death than a quick, clean gunshot.

Agree completely Eric.
Add on the fact that besides this legislative crap, the farmers/ranchers are using the dreaded cabbage poison, then the 'outfitters' are locking up most of the prime E. OR ranches for their own greedy benefit, thereby locking out us locals who've shot these ranches for decades. Now there's the hike in non-res fees as you point out.

It's getting harder and more expensive by the year to pursue our pastime. I'm in for life, no matter what!
