I bought a new XR100 several years ago and immediately had it rebarreled.
It been fired it 2-300 times and is in excellent condition and very accurate. Here’s the specs
XR100 single shot action
Sako extractor
Custom stainless tactical bolt knob
Shilen polished stainless 26” barrel, Remington varmint contour
Chambered in 22 PPC
Remington factory laminated thumbhole stock
Will include base and rings
Also will include approximately 75 pieces of Norma 22 ppc brass

I bought an XR100 in 204 from a gentleman named Dale when he was in Colorado a couple years back, think he was fixing to go back to Minnesota. If this is the same gentleman, that rifle is a fine shooter and you are all good to deal with him.

Curious about the twist, will it handle the 53 vmax?
 
It’s either a 12 or 14 twist. Shilen says their 14 twist will handle up to 55 grain bullets, so I assume it will handle 53 grain bullets.
