Did anyone see this one for sale?

Overpriced, period.

The "QD Cup" on the stock was poorly done, you can see the rough edges with small chips present. Looks like it was done DIY at home by the previous owner. Strange place to drill out a nice stock for a QD mount. Looks terrible, especially on a nice Cooper.

IMO (no one cares), it should be priced around $1,800. The only real positive thing about it is the fact it's a M38 in an interesting caliber. As Cooper went the way of the DoDo bird, I cherish my two Cooper M38's now more than ever.

That is a strange place to put that.

Saw a thread on AS about that, shameful what they did to a Cooper 38. Hopefully it doesn't sell and the original OP can get it for what the LGS gave for it originally, then he could afford to have a nice blank duplicated. Apparently it's round count is low.

Is that a rebarrel or did Cooper sell blue actions with s/s barrels.
Allowing for $ to £ conversion that ammo is more costly than the last 17 Fb factory ammo I bought here in UK!
Ken.

Yes, Cooper sold the Varminter, Montana Varminter and Varmint Extreme with blued actions and stainless barrels.
