Good afternoon all,

Eric asked me to make this post to let everyone know what is going on. On Sunday night around 11:00pm, Eric suffered from a heart attack at his home. He went to the ER where they started his treatment plan. On Monday morning they attempted to put in some stents, that failed. He was then transferred to a larger hospital. On Wednesday he underwent a triple bypass surgery. The surgery went very well without complications. He was moved to the ICU where he has been for the last couple days. Once moved to a regular room he will remain in the hospital for a few more days before being discharged. His recovery won’t be easy these next few weeks and full recovery could be 3 months out.

Eric is in great spirits as he always has been and very positive the worst is behind him. He may not be very active on the forum or any of the Varminter magazine socials for a while though. I will keep everyone updated.

I definitely will. I haven’t spoken with him directly but his daughter is keeping me updated.
