Favorite 19

While the subject of favorite is sometimes difficult for me I am curious about what different 19s y'all have, I like em all. I only have two the 19 Calhoon hornet on a Ruger James chambered and a Cooper M21 in 19-223. My friend BJ built his 19Eiland from a 222 improved case and is shown here with a 500 yard+ bull pd he shot to get in the 500 yard club back in the day. I believe he sold it to a gentleman in Montana when he was downsizing his arsenal. Curious what everyone has, seems to me someone built some larger ones with a .224 or .225 case. Yes James is still selling 19 caliber bullets, my intention here is not to debate why one needs another gun or caliber it's just purely for fun.

Never had one. I started eyeballing them back in the early 2000's, back then I didn't have the funds, raising three kids. Now I have the funds, but have never seen anything available on the secondary market lol

I had a 19/223 and a 19 Fireball for which (iirc) Dave Manson made my reamers and shipped them to UK.
Barrel blanks (SS Supermatch) came courtesy of the lovely Penny at Pac-Nor, a very helpful lady. Now retired I believe.
19 Fireball built on new Rem17Fb action and 19/223 on a new Rem. 700 x 223 action.
James Leahy was also very helpful shipping 19 caliber “Stuff” to UK.
Favorite was 19 Fireball.

Always thought the 19 Fireball would be a hoot. James always tried to talk me into the 19 Badger instead. Glad you got one up and running.
Penny is indeed lovely, I've talked to her many times. I need to call Pac-nor soon.

IRT Penny at P/N....I believe she indeed has retired. Loved working with her, and when my wife was still at Nosler, she worked with Penny on a daily basis and always had good things to say about her and the above average service she delivered with a smile (assumed smile....it was on the phone).

Pac-Nor is still my go-to barrel supplier; my 11T 204 Ruger Match barrel is still launching rats 'way out there' with stellar accuracy every time I take her out.
