Seems like when that barrel warms up it kicks out a tiny bit.I just tried the 53 Vmax in my new (old) Sako Vixen in 223. Here's some loads with Varget.

My 223 didn't group well with varget. CFE 223 worked awesome. All 3 shot groups touching. This was with a 60gn V-max with 1:9 twist. 3000fps.I haven't figured this rifle out yet, haven't shot it enough to get a feel for the barrel.
I'm leary of cfe223. Low end and medium loads are fine but when getting to the max loads fur CFE223 my cousin and I have had issues with it in the heat out west.I loaded a bunch of those for prarie dogs. Last year I used CFE223 but did not group this well
I'm using mine in medium loads of 223 for my AR and using them in carbine rifle matches I go to.I have heard that about the CEFE223 and its one of the reasons I am moving away from it. I didnt have any problems with it last year but it was in September and not so hot. I also dont like how it meters in my Chargemaster Lite. Kinda wants to flow like water. No idea what I am going to use my excess powder for though.
Looks like this load is worth trying in my Tikka T3x Varmint w/ 23" 8T.25.1 gr IMR8208 with the 53Vmax. 8 twist 20" barrel
Powder Valley currently has 8208 in stock in 1# and 8# containers. Also Varget in #1, #8, and #8.8.8208 outperformed CFE223, varget, and H4895 in my233. However in my 204 varget shot just as accurate as 8208 and is much easier for me to obtain
