Here's one I shot in Kodiak while one a mtn. goat hunt. 454 with 335gr cast bullets. Surprisingly almost no fur damage.

I would absolutely LOVE to get one like that! I've only ever seen one cross fox in my life.

Unless you are actively searching for them, you might get lucky and see 1-3 a year in the States. Coyotes about 10 per year.

Shot 6 last time we went out camping and all withing 1 kilometre of our camp site. The pics are of just some random foxes we took a couple years back. Last time away I forgot to take pictures.

We have more than enough foxes here in Australia. Introduced back in the 1800's, and now sadly out of control. An apex predator that causes huge damage to our native wildlife and birdlife...Not to mention farm livestock losses too.
The farmer here was losing his chickens to foxes.
I picked off these two buggers prowling around the chicken coop with the 17hmr...
WTR!!...

Took over an hour to stalk the second fox in the moon. Then a nice roe buck came to check me out.

I live in the flatlands of Northwest Ohio. On my property I have two back stops for shooting. Critters live in both of them. The back stop in this picture does not get used often. A week ago I found a female fox dead about 300 yards away from the back stop. I did not poke around to try and find the cause it was not lead poisoning yesterday I went to the property and found these two kits.
