Small stuff

Hi,
Have the suppliers of all things .14 not thrown the towel in now?
I think Carl at Extreme Accuracy might still have some .14 caliber related items for sale.

My first Wildcat was a 14-221 Walker.
Thought it too big a case and wished I’d done a 14 Hornet.
Soon tired of keeping the tiny hole Prestine.
Think that was 2009 and it was (Probably still is) the only one in the UK.

Could you use a 17AH bushing die with a smaller bushing to size? I made a buddy a 14 squirrel neck sizer with my 17 squirrel reamer. It was a bushing die, madd him a bushing or two. He said it works great.

For seating if you had a chamber reamer a wilson inline style die could be made pretty easily. Suppose a guy would be able to make a traditional 7/8x14 threaded die for a conventional press too.

I can’t seem to find a full length 17 Ackley Hornet sized only a neck sizer would that work to make bushings for .

That would probably work ok to. If you ever got to the point you had to size the body you could run them through a fl 17AH die. Doubt you'd get there with thin hornet brass. If you had the 14AH reamer a bushing sizer could be made. Wouldnt size the body.
