Front Ignition cartridges

Anyone converted cartridges to Front Ignition? Elmer Keith had some writings on it along with Hopkins and Oneil.

Nope but I see how it would help keep powder out of the throat area.
Kinda like the big artillery rounds have.

That looks like a difficult installation. The die must have a very long decapping pin.

I read about a guy doing it where the tube was flared and the primer held it in. Made sense to me. I would think it might be worth it with seriously overbore cartridges where powder bridging happens
