Introduce Yourself Here

My name is Loren Lunsford, I have hunted anything legal from the Canadian border to the Mexican border, from Iowa to the west coast, also Africa. I have a fondness for small wildcat cartridges, but will shoot anything that burns powder. I started calling coyotes when I was 13, that was 63 years ago and it is still a great passion for me, due to a knee replacement I do not get out for much varmint hunting currently, but if anyone calls I am ready to go.

This sounds more like a night at AA than an introduction forum.

We're all addicts contributing to the addiction of others. :ROFLMAO:

I'm just a Mid-West, MO, boy fighting the urge to spend the remainder of my time in the "Wild Wild West" shooting at all the little vermin and critters that roam the prairies and mountain sides. I love a good shooting mild recoiling rifle like many of you and I miss the days of yesteryear when every valley had prairie dog town that went as far as the eye could see. I'm looking forward to them many suggestions about the best cartridge, newest rifle, most powerful scope and why yours is better than everyone else's.

My name is Josh, im from southern Iowa. Used to work at Crow shooting supply in Montezuma, IA. I think thats when my obsession with small calipers really took off. I built a 17 Fireball while I worked there and it just spread like wildfire since. I've collected many calipers over the years. I enjoy all hunting but have focused more towards varmints. I have a 10 year old nephew that loves to call raccoons so thats a majority of my time in the field. Calling coyotes is a close second! Hope to learn from you all and if I can help anyone i will do my best to do so.

Dooger from MI here. Long time Saubier and RF Central guy. Shoot CZ timbres, 17 Rem, 221 FB, 223, etc. Thinking about one day re-barreling the 17 Rem since they’ve discontinued a lot of good 25 grain options for coyotes. Also thinking we should have subcategories here for: 17 cal, 20 cal, etc

My name is Joe Foldi. I’m from east of Calgary Alberta. I’m lucky enough to live in the Sandhills so we have gophers and badgers everywhere up here.

I’m very glad my buddy told me this forum is here. I miss Saubier like crazy. It’ll take a while but spread the word as much as you all can about this and we’ll have a great database for us sub calibre guys.

Afternoon,
My name is Chase. I live in Southern Idaho. I love all things varmint rifles. Spend most of my time hunting coyotes and chasing rock chucks. I load for all sort of rifles. Currently working on a 6x284 and a 6mm remington Ackley

I'm Ian from Dunedin, New Zealand. I was a member of the old Saubier site and used the same user name as I'm using here.
A buddy in Indiana got me interested in small calibers and Cooper rifles and I've also got a big interest in single shot rifles.
I also have a cartridge collection that started as a small caliber collection and still needs a lot of small caliber and wildcats additions

We lack the prairie dogs, gophers, rock chucks, coyotes, etc that you have in the USA but we do have a good number of rabbits and a few hares, they just don't do acrobatics like prairie dogs do when you hit them in the right place.
