Carbon Fiber barrel

Has anyone here built a walking varminter bolt action with a carbon fiber barrel? Just wondering if anyone has tried this option.

Nah, haven't tried any carbon fiber barrel yet. Imo just doesn't seem to justify the extra money.

Ive chambered quite a few of em for customers. Personally Id rather get a cool fluting job done by someone like LRI than a CF barrel. Im impatiently waiting on LRI to do their murder hornet fluting pattern on a barrel for me.

Been thinking about it a little. Guy at work just bought the new 10/22 a couple weeks ago and I couldn't believe how light it was.
While not a bolt it got me to thinking about a Lilja for one of mine. Funny thing is he needed money and already sold it for a -$200.00 loss. Said he had too many guns in 22lr,which I couldn't comprehend....maybe it didn't shot to his level of accuracy....

I just picked up a Howa Mini Carbon Hunter in 22 ARC. It weights 5lb 13 ounces bare. I can screw my Silencer Co Scythe onto it and it doesn't feel nose heavy like most.
