Chronographs

Its just hard to use the app to make a rifle and also a bullet. And select one.
Ive made them but cant select them to go with the session.
I haven't tried importing data off the chrono into the app. When I first loaded the app on my phone it wasn't as user-friendly as I had hoped it would be. Then I found out it only exported data via MS Excel protocol which I don't have now that I'm retired, though I lived in Excel at my business. Google sheets and Docs do everything I need for zero cost.

I did make rifle and bullet profiles in the app and it's detailed, requiring bullet spec homework.

I'm with you on the PITA factor, I already spend too much phone screen time. I'd rather be reloading or shooting than blowing a few hours in an app.

The Garmin works great though, and it's time efficient with a notepad and mechanical pencil to log data. The fact that it captures .17 Fireball 20g loads at 3,900-4,100fps without error somewhat amazes my 67 year old brain..

Hopefully Athlon updates the app to be as user friend as the RangeCraft chrono.

Yes I'm prolly just gonna write them down on paper and be done with it.
My friend was over and I wanted to log his rifle. But I don't know all his rifles info. So I cant save it in my phone like I want to.
It will be great if you know all the gun and ammo info but if you don't then your just guessing and that's gonna give you wrong info rather than just leaving it blank.

The program was written by electronic data geeks focused on data geeks. no disrespect to Athlon in any way.

I'm fine with a pencil and paper considering how efficient the RangeCraft's data acquisition is for my primary objectives.

I'd rather focus my time on sending rounds accurately downrange and capturing impact video, than importing data to spreadsheets. :D

And.... thanks to @TheCZKid , I'll be 'geeking' out setting up my new powder charging tools. (y)
