I used the pistol to shoot IHMSA.
REALLY.....a pellet gunA few from the UK with a .22 air rifle, shooting Diablo pellets, this is doing about 34 ft-lbs. WeView attachment 314 have to have a firearms licence for such a weapon in the UK.
We do here in New Zealand as well if it's a PCP or "specially dangerous" pellet gun. If it's a normal air rifle you have to be 18 to own one, but can own one without a licenseWe have to have a firearms licence for such a weapon in the UK.
Anything over 12 ft-lbs needs to be on a firearms licence in England; once they are over that, you can have them pumping out as many ft-lbs as you need. Some modern PCPs shooting slugs are incredible pieces of engineering, I'd say better in some respects than .22 rimfires. However, you will never beat the robustness and simplicity of a rimmy compared to an air rifle. We do here in New Zealand as well if it's a PCP or "specially dangerous" pellet gun. Have you seen the prices of those PCPs? Thousands! Incredibly accurate.REALLY.....a pellet gun![]()
Thanks!Nice shooting!!
Sounds like a legitimate reason for a new rifle.I shipped my A17 back to Savage for more problems. It turned out worse than the first time I shipped it to them.
I also included a $20 bill and in the note it said I am buying lunch for anyone fixing my problems. Also included was I suggested if the rifle is a lemon, please send me a different rifle. That should attract some attention.
You probably already know this. Carefully examine each cartridge. Eric M. Has found split necks in his brand new boxes of 17WSM winchester.I sent my Savage A17 Sporter .17 WSM back to Savage because of more problems. I have it back and giving it a trial run today. Including in the note I sent to them, if the rifle is a lemon, send me a different rifle. They returned the same rifle.
