Winchester 1885 - .219 Zipper Improved - Update

We can import for a fee. Not sure but I think the import fees are still around $250 per line item. Just reading in another thread online from 2025 that Eabco will ship them to Canada, Never held one so don’t know how they feel or how the triggers are etc. always thought it would be neat and easy to chamber some different calibers that aren’t as popular.
Happy to see TC is building Encores and Contenders again, perhaps the new owner will export them to Canada in an effort to rebuild our relationship with our northern friends. Tariffs be damned. Very happy I was able to get a s/s Lynx contender before all of this went down. May have to get another Encore too. Might check with Marty at Haus of Arms too.

Did someone say 'Ruger No.1'?

I've been fielding my No. 1 Varmint in 223 for some years now. She wears a Canjar single set trigger, and after free floating the barrel and forend assembly, she shoots the Nosler 40gr BT in a steady .3" all day over H335.

I probably could fill my truck bed with ground squirrels shot with this rifle, and it's the only rifle in all my rat shooting years I've ever gone 100 for 100 hits on Skippy and his pals. Happened one day in N. CA on a large alfalfa ranch, a day I'll never forget, and have never been able to duplicate the feat since.

The stock wood on mine is purty nice, but some of the No.1's I've seen have had absolutely gorgeous show-stopping wood.
