Varmint pistols

My trusty Ruger Redhawk 7.5" Wabbit Whacker that I purchased when they first came out, which I believe was 1983ish.
240g HP over 22.4gns of 2400 definitely puts the hurt on them.

Seig, love the moniker "wabbit whacker"! Good 'un.(y)

Not a handgun pic, but when I saw your pet name it immediately reminded me of one jackwabbit that was cruising a sagebrush fenceline at 226 yards away while a buddy and I were shooting squirrels. A quick bench rotation lined him up, and when he got to a small opening in the sage, I let one fly with a Nosler 32gr BT out of my Cooper M38 20VT. My buddy turned to me and said "you really wacked that wabbit!"

Your .44 no doubt produces very similar results on rouge bunnys. Wabbit whackers indeed! :ROFLMAO:

In 1980-83, we used to camp at Christmas Valley Lake and chase Wabbits on our dirt bikes as practice for the upcoming desert racing season. We went into the town of Christmas Valley to have dinner and when returning to camp one road had Wabbits crossing left and right in large numbers. My 3 buddies in my Cherokee said stop the car and show us what that 44 can do! I stood between the headlights and the 2nd Wabbit I hit had it's backside rib cage ejected. I probably shot 20-25 at that stop.... a never forget moment!
